I am writing to thank Doctor Melki for the Laser Vision Correction surgery he performed on me last week. As a set designer I often work long hours and travel frequently. Having worn contact lenses for years I have encountered many problems that have hindered my ability to work such as dry sore eyes, irritation from lenses as well as several infections on account of seemingly oversensitive eyes. I have been meaning to have Laser Vision Correction for several years but a mixture of fear of the surgery and anxiety over the success prevented me from going forward with it.
When I finally decided to have Laser Vision Correction I wanted to go with someone I trusted and Doctor Melki was recommended to me as the best. I was very afraid of the whole process especially the surgery itself. In consultation Doctor Melki was informative, reassuring and put me completely at ease surrounding the entire procedure. He explained to me in great detail the entire process which left me with no hesitation whatsoever about my choice to have the operation. When I traveled from New York to Boston for my surgery, I was treated with the utmost professionalism and personal care that made the whole experience far less traumatic than I had feared. At no point during the procedure did I feel anything but complete confidence in Doctor Melki and his staff. I was made to feel completely taken care of post operation and was able to check I daily with Doctor Melki after I returned to New York. I can’t describe how wonderful it is to wake up every morning and be able to see. I want to thank Doctor Melki and the Boston Eye Group for not only enhancing my life professionally and personally but also making the whole experience as trauma-free as they possibly could, especially for one as afraid as I was.
I would like to highly recommend Dr. Melki and the Boston Eye Group to anyone and everyone considering laser vision correction.
