Daniel J. Townsend, MD
Dr. Townsend is a graduate of the Mayo Medical School and is certified by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Ophthalmology He recently joined the Boston Eye Group physicians as of January 2005. A frequent lecturer in both professional and academic settings, Dr. Townsend has published dozens of peer-reviewed articles on a variety of topics, including the clinical application of Botox. In 1994, Dr. Townsend co-authored the best-selling medical text, Atlas of Eyelid Surgery, which has sold thousands of copies in the United States and abroad. Dr. Townsend performs a wide range of cosmetic procedures including eyelid surgery, Botox therapy and other cosmetic facial plastic surgery techniques.
